Indonesia is NOT only Bali.It has much more to offer. We spent only 15 days but one needs minimum 20 days to see the glimpses of the country.
01 Jun Sun Day Departure from Delhi by Malindo Flt OD206 at 22.05(5Hr.30Mins), Low cost air lines which serves food. Has ample leg space, more than full service airlines.You must carry your ear plugs to listen to entertainment, else you will need to buy them from cabin crew.
02 Jun Mon
Day. Arrived at Kulalumpur at 0555 at KL2. Changed to KL1 Terminal and Departed by Malaysian Air
Flt MH830 at 0845, Arrived at Medan at 0845
The Malindo Flt reached late at 0715 at
KL2 but managed to take next flt from KL1 at 08.50 by changing to KL1 by a airport train(2 MYR ticket) and journey time 5 mins.
Medan.Visited Sultan’s Deli Palace built in 1888, it is a small section open to
public (30mins)

outside the city.

Takes 1 hour to reach. A huge complex. Stayed at Hotel
Swiss Belinn Medan. Good BF but dark bathroom with black stone.The local transport is called BECHAK. It is modified motorcycle with passenger carrying side car.

03 Jun Tue day. Dep for Lake Toiba at 0830.

Reached Barastagi after
2.30 hours. It is good halt, in hills.It is better to drive 2.5 hours from Medan to Barastagi for night stay than to stay at Medan.
04 Jun Wed Day. A day
to explore
Samosir Island. Went to Simanindo to see Batak Toba traditional dance ( Tor-Tor ) and museum at
09.30 hours.
05 Jun Thu Day. After
breakfast drove back to Medan via Pematang Siantar and Tebing Tinggi,176 km, 4
Hours. Started at 8 from hotel.

Took
ferry to Parapat then by car. Had a halt at Tinggi bought peanut snacks. Reached
airport at 2. Departed at 16.50 by Air Asia Flt QZ 8098 Arrived at 19.30 Jakarta Term 3.
Traffic in Jakarta is realreal bad. Took 2 hours from
airport to Hotel.
Stayed at Hotel Red Top.

Excellent Hotel in heart of city.You can see the National Memorial in Centre of picture.
06 Jun Fri day. After Bfast started by road at 7.30 for Bandung. It is better to take
train and reach Bandung during working days of week. Reached Kawah Putih at
1.30 with a short break mid way. The sulpher water Lake is worth a visit.

Drove
to Hotel after seeing few Factory outlets. Reached Hotel Ibis Trans Studio at 8pm.Excellent
Hotel to stay.
Depatred at 08.00 Argowilis. The train journey is long but through a beautiful countryside.

Arrived
Jogyakarta at 16.10. Checked into hotel and went to local market which was walking
distance. Stayed at Hotel Arjuna .Hotel is very good with excellent BF spread.

09 Jun Mon day. Started early morning at 8.30am to see the Merapi volcano.Also Saw Ullen Sentalu, the destoyed village during 2006 eruption.

Then went to see the huge Borobudur Temple
and later went to see Mendut temple.

Thereafter went in horse cart for a ride through Candirejo village to see village activities.Went for a local spa of 90 mins. Returned to Hotel.

In the evening went for buffet followed by Ramayana
Ballet at Open theatre Prambanan temple.
Returned to Hotel.
11 Jun Wed Day . Carried packed break fast and
reached airport at 7.30 for flt at 08.35 by Air Asia Flt QZ8449 reached Bali 10.45.
Drove to Ubud for 2 hrs and had lunch in local restaurant
overlooking terraced rice fields. Later went to see Gunung Gawi Sebatu Temple
at Tegallalang

area followed by 2 hour message and scrub in local spa. Stayed at
Hotel Bali Spirit. Excellent property.

12 Jun Thu day . Started at 8.30 after BF .Drove to see , Barong and Kris dance at Batubulan.

Later went to see Hindu and Buddhist temple, Tirta Empul.It was crowded due to Purnima (Full Moon) worshipping crowds.

Thereafter drove to Kintamani to see Batur volcano. reached at 2pm. Had a lunch break.The volcano also has Batur lake next to it.

13 Jun Fri Day. Picked up at 9.00 for a drop to Padang Bai Harbour by Blue water van.Reached harbour at 1100.Had to cut short our tour due to emergency at home. Went to travel agent but called & helped by Indian agent for return flt.Night stay at Bali.
14 Jun Sat day. Moved to
airport at 09.30 for flt to Delhi via KL. Departed at 1305 by Malindo Flt OD 305. Arrived Kuala Lumpur at 16.10 then Departed at 18.15 by Malindo Flt OD 205 and finally arrived at 21.05 New Delhi
