03 Jun: Helsinki. After a very good breakfast arrived at 09.55 in  Helsinki. took a tram to halt ahead of  Rail Stn and walked 100 mtrs to  Hotel Arthur.

After little rest went by tram to see  , Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral. perched  atop a small rocky cliff over the North Harbour. It was closed. bought 1/2 liter of berries. Well the 1/2 ltr was very new to us. These are filled in a jar measuring 1/2 ltr and these are not weighed.

Later tram to see Sibelius Monument, Temppeliaukio Church, one of Helsinki's most popular attractions, commonly called the Church in the Rocks,Lutheran Cathedral (Tuomiokirkko)

In the evening went for Indian dinner and enroute saw the  Aleksanterinkatu, The unofficial symbol of the city, this striking white cathedral dominates the central Senate Square.

04 Jun: Tallin. Today morning after Break fast took the tram to Ferry Terminal   ferry

 for departure at 10.00 to Tallin. you do not need separate visa if you are coming back on same day. the ferry was really good and very comfortable. Arrived at 12.30 at Tallin. walked to old city and saw the old city kept in same old condition. It is beautiful city about 1 km by 1 km. You can walk through and see it all in about 3 hours. Take a map, study it , you then can walk around the city.

 We walked back to terminal and departed at 19.00 to arrive  Helsinki at 19.30. you can take later ferry also as the sun light is available till 10.00 pm.

  

                                                                                                                  

05 Jun: St Peters burg. Today took packed break fast and departed at 0612 Dep by Train for  St Petersburg. The custom, immigration and money exchange  is done in the running train. the train journey is good with scenic views. we arrived at 10.48 in St Petersburg . Stayed in a an apartment   Nevsky Inn Petersburg,  Kirpichniy Pereulok No.2, apartment #19.

 The apt  is next to Metro Stn Admirality. It is most Centrally Located with all sites in walking distance.
 After Lunch went to see the great HERMITAGE . you need atleast 4 to 5 hours to see this museam with lots of collections.

06 Jun: St Petersburg. today morning we took the metro and then local bus to see Peter-of .this combination is of 100 rubles else you pay 2500 rubles to go by the boat. after seeing the Peter-of we saw a local church before coming back. The trip takes full day.

                 

07 Jun: St Petersburg. Rest Day .Went to a  Mall seen after long walk.

08 Jun: St Petersburg. Took a Free Walking Tour from hermitage. Saw the  Palace Square, Alexander’s column, Winter Palace, Admiralty, St Isaac’s Cathedral, Monument of Peter The Great, Savior of the Spilled Blood Cathedral. After Lunch went to see Peter and Paul Fortress.

we then took the night train at 22.15pm  for Moscow. The train had   ACII  like coach with cabins.

09 Jun: Moscow. Arrival  05.15 Moscow. the cab driver took us to  Hotel BEST WESTERN Vega Hotel & Convention Center. We got a upgrade room and early check in. after rest we went by Metro to Red Square. Saw the Lenin's mouseleium. It has no entrance ticket. Walked around to see the Kremlin.

10 Jun:  Moscow. Today too the Metro to Kremlin. Could get tickets to see only a portion as other was blocked for some national festival. the ticket lines are big. It is better to take a guided tour group to save time to buy tickets.

11 Jun: Moscow. Today morning went around the local mall for  Purchase of items.

 Finally took a Metro to change into Aero Exp and reached the Airport at 16.30 Checked in for flt to Delhi at 19.25 .
