07-Jun, Sun, Dep for Sofia at 14.30by Bus . Border Crossing at Kulata. It took one hour for Pass Port Control to check and put their stamp. Arrival at 18.45 and Night Stay at Sofia. The Bus is comfortable and journey is nice.

09-Jun, Tue, Day 2 – Dep for Rila at 09.00 reached at 11.30 hours.  Took 2 hours to see this very popular monastery in the mountains.

Had early lunch at 12.45 enroute at a beautiful café next to mountain stream. 11.30. Started for Plovdiv     arrived at 18.00 PM.  Night Stay Plovdiv after a walk in Old City.

A small neat hotel with a big room,  in the old city area. The city center is about 12 mins walk.

10-Jun, Wed, Day 3 –  Dep for Veliko Tarnovo  at  08.30AM. Drove thru Roman Citadel, where you can see the old Gate and wall . 

There after drove thru Rose Valley after visit to native house of the Guide.

Went to see the Rose Factory at DAMASCENA. It is a MUST visit place. Neat , Clean, extremely well laid out with 1400 varieties of Roses.

Took Lunch break at Kazanlak  after seeing the 4BC  Kazanlak  Tombs. Reached Velico Tarniva at 17.30PM.

Kings Hill

11-Jun, Thu, Day4 – Dep for Bucharest  today.

After Break Fast went to see Kings Hill or  Tsarevets Fortress as it is part of City. Then drove to  Arbanassi  village which is on top of hill. A nice drive of 30 mins.

The Village is still having old houses but converted to commercial hub. It is believed to be most expensive real estate in the country. 

Russain Friendship Church at Shipka Pass

Thereafter drove to Ruse which is border city of Bulgaria. Reached at 13.00Pm and met our Romanian guide. The Border crossing was a breeze. Just a min to get the passports stamped.
